As Lead UX Designer, you will:
- Own and scale the end-to-end user experience across multiple products.
- Serve as a UX lead on initiatives that span product lines—streamlining patterns, navigation, and service handoffs between modules.
- Lead discovery, definition, and delivery of high-impact projects—from architecture diagrams to release orchestration, approvals, and telemetry dashboards.
- Define and evolve our design system in collaboration with engineering, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and performance across the platform.
- Champion cross-functional design reviews, foster alignment with engineering and product, and drive adoption of scalable UX practices.
- Mentor other designers, improve design operations, and help establish UX success metrics tied to adoption, retention, and task success.
- Lead platform-wide design efforts with autonomy and clarity—owning experiences across multiple high-complexity surfaces.
- Map workflows across teams (release managers, compliance admins, security leads) and define user journeys that reduce time-to-value.
- Prototype deeply technical concepts such as deployment diffing, audit logs, security postures, and impact analysis with clarity and precision.
- Contribute to and govern our design system—drive token structure, accessibility compliance, and performance-aware UI decisions.
- Run usability tests, synthesize data, and partner with Analytics to define product instrumentation strategies.
- Collaborate with documentation, customer success, and solution engineering to ensure UX is reflected end-to-end across the customer journey.
- 10+ years of experience designing complex, enterprise SaaS products—ideally in developer tools, security, or data-intensive applications.
- Mastery in Figma (design systems, components, documentation), with experience shipping features in Angular or modern component-based frontends.
- Strong systems thinking and information architecture—can untangle dense workflows and present scalable solutions.
- Track record of leadership in UX strategy, design ops, cross-team collaboration, and mentoring junior designers.
- Proven ability to work with real data, edge cases, and enterprise-ready UI states (empty, error, loading).
- Strong understanding of accessibility (WCAG 2.2), performance trade-offs, and interaction design principles.
- Comfortable communicating with executive stakeholders and defending design decisions with clarity and impact.
- Experience in DevOps, CI/CD, or Salesforce ecosystems
- Familiarity with telemetry tools (Amplitude, GA4, Pendo)
- Participation in design system governance or contribution models
- Design leadership in remote-first, product-led growth organizations
